Open Discussion: NBCs Dracula TV Series What Did you Think?

It is time for another open discussion where we ask you the readers to share what you think of a topic. This go around we want to know what you think of the newly released NBC show ‘Dracula’. The show which stars Jonathon Rhys Meyers is a new take on the age old terror and frankly its pretty damn strange. With that said however its also had a pretty solid premiere on Friday.

In NBC’s take on the vampire menace Dracula is not so much villain as much as he is a vampire out for revenge after a secret British society known as the Dragon murders his wife. Dracula has a vendetta which includes taking over Britain’s imperial businesses and he is doing it with the help of his trusty side kick… Van Helsing. Yeah this Dracula is weird!

Over 5 million people tuned into the first episode of NBC’s Dracula and frankly the unique take although odd is also somewhat refreshing. The big question is will this alternative take on the age old tale be enough to sustain a series.
