Open Grave Releases Italian Trailer
Whatever you do, don’t say “Mama Mia! That’s a spicy trailer!” after watching the first Italian trailer for “Open Grave.” That’d be super culturally offensive and we’re not about that here. If you’re into that kind of stuff, I only have one thing to say to you. What’s a matter you?!
Big thanks to the guys at HeyUGuys and AITH for directing us to this trailer, otherwise it would’ve completely flown under the radar. The film comes by way of director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego, the same man that brought us “Apollo 18″ a couple of years ago. Hopefully he’s learned a few new tricks since then, because he’s got quite a battle to overcome the negative buzz surrounding that flick.
One thing that the film does have going for it, though, is the cast of actors that it has assembled. The film stars Sharlto Copley (“Europa Report” and “District 9″), Josie Ho (“Contagion”), Joseph Morgan (“The Vampire Diaries”), Thomas Kretschmann (“The River”), Erin Richards (“Breaking In”), and Max Wrottesley (“Captain Phillips”).
The film also has a rather intriguing plot that promises some good murdering and mystery.
Open Grave is the haunting tale of six desperate individuals who wake up with amnesia-like symptoms next to a n open grave of rotting bodies in a remote, desolate forest. With nowhere to turn, they are forced to piece together the mysterious, and ultimately horrifying, set of circumstances that brought them together- before it’s too late.
The reason we only have an Italian trailer thus far is because the film comes out in Italy next month, but there’s no word on when it come out to the US. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think. Maybe it’s just me, but does anyone else get a zombie vibe off of this movie?
