Packaging Revealed for Predator 3D
Just a couple days ago it was announced that Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment was going to be converting Predator to 3D. Today at Comic Con an image of what that packaging would look like has surfaced. The one cool bit of information that came out of that anouncement was that at their Comic Con booth they would be selling little action figures of a Predator holding your severed head. This is all done by using a 3D camera.
In order to get that figure you would have to either pre-order this huge Predator head packaging that is below for $129.99 or go with the standard pre-order for $49.99. Now this packaging is pretty bad ass but $130 is asking a lot. However if you figure they are charging $50 for the blu ray than the actual head bust is only going to run you $80.
Below is the official press release along with an image of the packaging courtesy of STYD.
Additionally fans will get a first look at the all-new 3D transfer of the film before it arrives on Blu-ray 3D later this year as they enter the jungle that is ruled by the ultimate warrior that came from another planet.Attendees can also participate in the “Hunt the Predator” challenge.
Fans who find the Predator, take a photo and upload it to their social networks with the official hashtag “#HUNTthePREDATOR” will be entered to receive a front of the line pass at the Predator 3D booth for an exclusive 3D printed figurine. The PREDATOR Blu-ray 3D will be shipped to all those that pre-order at Comic-Con when it is officially released in December. The custom figurine will be shipped following the convention.
