Prometheus Comic Con Clip, Rating Details

Coming hot off the heel’s from Prometheus‘ panel at Comic-Con comes word that may have some of you screaming in anger, however Ridley Scott gives us his word.

According to Bloody-Disgusting, Scott’s Prometheus will apparently be a PG-13 film but it will feature extreme material and they will do what’s right for the film. Scott commented saying, he wants “to scare the shit out of you.” adding that “”It has the DNA of the original ‘Alien’ that’s it. Everything else is completely original.”

Although the PG-13 staple may sound atrocious, looking back now perhaps the original Alien would be considered a PG-13 these days. Of course a hard R would be sweet, but I think Scott is relying more on atmospheric scenes rather than a balls out film like Cameron’s Aliens.

Also there was a clip shown of Prometheus during their panel which revealed a ship which apparently looks like the Nostromo, Giger-esque caverns  which is said to look similar to a place where the Space Jockey is.

Apparently Charlize Theron is practically naked doing some push-ups, weird alien markings on the wall and some dude in a space suit be sucked in a tunnel. Also Theron blasts a man with a flame-thrower.
