Purge Sequel ‘Anarchy’ Plot Details

The upcoming Purge sequel that our readers just cant wait to see ( sarcasm our readers groan every time  I mention it ) has been renamed Purge 2 Anarchy according to ad agents pitching who are pitching the film.

I for one actually thought that the film which starred Ethan Hawke was a fun film and although it was poorly executed was not near as bad as many made it out to be.

The new name change for Purge 2 likely is designed to reflect the fact that the sequel will not be based in a home but in the mean streets. As far as the plot goes in not-so-new news while speaking with Fangoria, actor Zach Gilford (Devil’s Due) revealed a few interesting bits about where the next Purge film will take place.

With this one, there’s none of the same characters, but it’s the same day of the year and it takes place in the city where there are no security systems and it’s just like a war zone where people are just trying to survive. So I thought it was pretty interesting to take that concept and to look at it from a different angle.

The cast so far for the film includes Zach Gilford, Michael K Williams and Kiele Sanchez. Kiele Sanchez first came to my attention when she headlines in 30 Days of Night: Dark Days. It was a fantastic film and her performance was spectacular and combined with her stunning beauty she stole the entire movie.
