Raven Banner to Adapt Clive Barker’s Jacqueline Ess

For those of you who are familiar with Clive Barker’s anthology novel Books of Blood, will obviously recognize Jacqueline Ess: Her Will And Testament, and yes, it is now time for this one to receive the big screen treatment.

According to Screen Daily, Raven Banner Entertainment is set to adapt Jacqueline Ess: Her Will And Testament for the screen. They will be producing alongside Barker’s Seraphim Films.

The film is said to begin production this Autumn.

Raven Banner’s managing partner Andrew Hunt said;

All of us at Raven Banner have been huge fans of Clive’s for years and I personally have always loved the story of Jacqueline Ess,” said managing partner Hunt. “It has all the qualities one wants in a modern horror film, so I’m excited to see it finally being brought to life on film.
