Reminder: The Conjuring to Play at LA Film Fest
Without a doubt, it’s going to be a pretty big weekend for moviegoers. Not only is “Man of Steel” still playing, but now “Monsters University” and “World War Z” are about to enter the fray. However, if you live near LA there’s another movie you could possibly add to your watchlist.
“The Conjuring” will be playing tonight at the Regal Cinemas near LA Live in Los Angeles, California as part of the LA Film Festival. So if you wanted to see James Wan’s latest horror film a full month in advance of it’s July 19th premiere, this is your chance There will be two showings tonight, one at 10:00pm and then at 10:30pm and director James Wan will be in attendance after the screening to do a Q&A with the audience.
Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, “The Conjuring” tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
The film stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland, Mackenzie Foy, Kyla Deaver, and Sterling Jerins.
