Rob Kazinsky Joins Pacific Rim, William To Join Also?

Who here loves monster movies? I mean, who here loves monster movies featuring giant freaking monsters? I do, and that’s why I cannot wait for Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim.

According to Variety it looks as if TV actor Rob Kazinsky (Law & Order L.A.) has signed on to star in the alien-invasion, monster flick. But that’s not all, Variety are also reporting that Willem Dafoe is being eyed up as a rogue scientist who has expertise on these alien creatures.

Kazinsky joins the previously announced cast of Charlie Hunnan, Idris Elba, Charlie Day and Max Martini.

The film is set on an alternate version of Earth in the near future. The story centres on humans piloting giant robots to battle giant aliens that are invading Earth through a wormhole-type structure.

Pacific Rim hits theatres on July 12, 2013.
