Salò Now On Bluray, Specs & Trailer
Sorry guys, I totally missed this one. I was recently browsing through Criterion’s new release’s to find Pier Paolo Pasolini’s notorious film Salò or The 120 Days of Sodom has had the Criterion overhaul and as you’d imagine it is filled to the brim with extras and is available on DVD and Blu-ray now.
A perfect gift for yourself or for another who is into the finer things in life. For those who have never seen Salò, it is a shocking pornographic film which could also be said is a masterpiece, not an easy watch but if you’re after something a little depraved, this will fill that void.
The film is currently available for $31.96 that’s the price for both the Blu-ray and the DVD, check out Criterion to check it out and place an order.
Synopsis: “The notorious final film from Pier Paolo Pasolini, Salò, or The 120 Days of Sodom has been called nauseating, shocking, depraved, pornographic . . . It’s also a masterpiece. The controversial poet, novelist, and filmmaker’s transposition of the Marquis de Sade’s eighteenth-century opus of torture and degradation to Fascist Italy in 1944 remains one of the most passionately debated films of all time, a thought-provoking inquiry into the political, social, and sexual dynamics that define the world we live in.”
