School Gets a Little Scarier in Full Length ‘Gallows’ Trailer
We got our first taste of “The Gallows” earlier this year when Jason Blum debuted the first bit of footage at Wondercon. Since then we haven’t heard too much about the project, but you can expect that to change starting now as the film gears up for its July 10th premiere.
Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy—but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone.
During Wondercon the producers of the film came out to say that they found an interesting new way of doing found footage, but based on the footage below, it kind of seems like they typical found footage fare. I’m not seeing too much that strikes me as being radically different. I guess we’ll have to wait till July 10th to find out what they meant.
