Scream Factory to Unleash Stigmata onto Blu-ray this May

In true Scream Factory fashion, they have a new surprise title announcement in the form of the 1999 flick Stigmata. Now, I know many didn’t dig this flick but I for one enjoyed it. I thought it was a nice little entry into the whole possession sub-genre, and one film that is really overdue another viewing.

So, according to the Scream Factory Facebook page, Stigmata will be hitting Blu-ray for the very first time this May 12th. However we have no details on extras at this time but apparently all the extras that were on the 2000 MGM DVD release will be ported over. We are unsure if any new features will be added at this time but stay tuned for more news on this release soon.

The film was directed by Rupert Wainwright and starred Patricia Arquette (recent Oscar nominee for Best Supporting Actress in Boyhood), Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects, In Treatment), and Jonathan Pryce (Brazil, Tomorrow Never Dies).
