Scream Factory Unleashes David Cronenberg’s ‘Rabid’ onto Blu-ray This November

Oh yes! We’re so freakin rabid for, well, David Cronenberg’s Rabid! We love this flick and we’re sure you do too, so you’ll be very pleased to know that the folks over at Scream Factory have announced that they will be unleashing the film on a special Collector’s Edition Blu-ray this November 22nd.

The Blu-ray will come complete with a slip cover and the newly commissioned artwork (see below) from CRP Group. But if that’s not to your taste, fear not. The reverse side of the wrap will feature the iconic theatrical image.

Extras features are yet to be announced, but we’re told that they should hit sometime in September/October, as they’re still in progress.

Synopsis: A young woman develops a taste for human blood after undergoing experimental plastic surgery, and her victims turn into rabid, blood-thirsty zombies who proceed to infect others, which turns into a city-wide epidemic.
