Seth Gilliam to Star in The Walking Dead Season 5

It has been a little quiet as of late, but that all changes today as we have just received word of some new casting news in regards to the fifth season of AMC’s The Walking Dead.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Seth Gilliam (pictured right, Teen Wolf, The Wire) has boarded the show as a series regular.

At this time, his role is being kept under wraps, but the guys over at THR have shared a little educated guess of their own;

[We] guess that Gilliam is playing Gabriel Stokes, a preacher who first crosses paths with Rick in the 61st issue of the comics — just before the ragtag band of survivors encounters the Hunters (aka the cannibals). Not long afterward, Gabriel reveals the dark lengths to which he went in order to ensure his survival and becomes a member of Rick’s community.

But for certain, I guess we will just have to wait and see, so keep those eyes peeled this October for the return of The Walking Dead!
