Sneak Peek Look at the ‘El Gigante’ Comic
A little while back I had the opportunity to witness Gigi Saul Guerrero’s horror short El Gigante, which is based upon Shane McKenzie’s novel Muerte Con Carne, and it was pure awesomeness! Gigi and her team over at Luchagore Productions absolutely nailed it, and it quickly became one of the best shorts I’ve ever seen. But it turns out I’m not alone, many others have fallen in love with the short film and novel, and as such have created a beautifully illustrated graphic novel.
Hiro Fujii and Daiju Kurabayashi are the talented duo behind the graphic novel, and some how they have encapsulated the pure intensity and graphic violence of the short onto paper, and we have a little sneak peek look for you to check out below.
