Super Shark Takes A Bite Out of DVD

I’ve kind of lost count on all the shark films in recent times, but here we have yet another one to add to that ever growing pile. Super Shark is not your basic shark, this one is super!

Courtesy of Dread Central we can reveal that Fred Olen Ray’s Super Shark will be taking a chunk out of DVD this February 7th and we have the artwork and a trailer which you can view below. My only gripe with the trailer is that it shows far to much.

Synopsis: “An offshore drilling accident triggers the release of a giant prehistoric shark. When marine biologist Kat Carmichael (Sarah Lieving) arrives, she runs up against corporate frontman Roger Wade (John Schneider, The Dukes Of Hazard, Smallville, Desperate Housewives), who plots with Stewart (Jerry Lacy, Dark Shadows) to disrupt her investigation.

With the help of Skipper Chuck (Tim Abell, Soldier of Fortune, Inc.) and disc jockey Dynamite Stevens (Jimmie “J.J.” Walker, Good Times), Kat tries to find a way to defeat the monster, which has evolved to a state where it can walk on dry land and fly… it’s the Super Shark! The latest in retro-monster moviemaking from cult director Fred Olen Ray (Dino Wolf) features a cameo by R&B music legend Harvey Scales.”
