SWAT Team Storm World War Z Set
Marc Forster’s upcoming adaptation of Max Brooks’ novel is currently filming at a number of locations around the world. Unfortunately the film has had a major hold up in filming and are being treated like terrorists.
According to US Magazine, a SWAT team raided a budapest warehouse on Monday which was holding weapons for the movie World War Z. The police seized all 85 weapons which were automatic military-style assault rifles that were in fact fully-functional.
A source told the site;
“…the guns came with paperwork claiming they were non-functional — but they’re actually in working order.”
The site reports that Brad Pitt wasn’t to blame for the prop problem but the movie company’s employees must have made a mistake. That’s a pretty big mistake if you ask me.
Currently World War Z is over budget and behind schedule and obviously this hasn’t helped matters and apparently Brad Pitt is furious and rightly so since his company Plan B Entertainment is producing the flick.
Look for this one on December 21, 2012, that is, if it doesn’t get changed.
