Teaser Art for Avalanche Sharks
It was several weeks ago that I was stricken with a terrible fever that kept me awake all night. Unable to sleep despite the tiredness of my disease ravaged body, I opted to find something on Netflix to watch for what could have possibly been my last night on Earth.
Naturally my eyes came upon Sand Sharks and my fever stricken mind thought: “Hey, that’s a thing I never saw…might as well watch it now.” As the minutes ticked by, I feared that a fate worse than death now awaited me. What had I gotten myself into? Terrible acting, terrible CGI and a hilariously awesome plot made me question whether I was really watching a movie or suffering an incredible fever dream.
However, there was a light at the end of that tunnel of madness and it was Brooke Hogan that guided me through. When I came out the other side and woke up the next morning I was a stronger man. A better man.
And now Sand Sharks is getting a sequel! This time they’re taking the sharks out of the sand and sticking them in the snow for Avalanche Sharks. The film is being directed by Scott Wheeler (Transmorphers) and written by Keith Shaw (Malibu Shark Attack). Journey below for a synopsis of Avalanche Sharks and to check out the first teaser art for it.
After a horrific avalanche, the staff at Twin Pines Ski Resort starts to receive reports of missing people and creatures that move beneath the snow. As the body count piles up, the management tries to cover up the situation, which leads to disaster on their busiest day of the year: Bikini Snow Day.
Spring break in the mountains: snowboarding, beer, drunken co-eds in bikinis. As the yearly Bikini Ski Day party descends on a small mountain town, something lurks beneath the snow. When an unwitting rider causes an avalanche, it awakens a huge, menacing, pre-historic Snow Shark! With a newfound taste for human flesh, the Snow Shark picks off the snow bunnies mercilessly. Cut off from help by mountainous terrain and blinding snow, the local sheriff must make an unlikely alliance with a motley crew of snowboarders to take down the Snow Shark before the white hills run red with blood!
