‘The Exorcist’ Season 2 Premieres This September!

Many of us fans of The Exorcist TV series were worried that FOX had cast the series out for good but, word came back in May that the second season had been renewed which left most of us so joyous thinking that it would be an excellent day for an exorcism.

However, at that time we had no word as to when the second season would premiere; would it be this year, or maybe next?

Well, thanks to their official Facebook page, we can reveal that the second season of The Exorcist will premiere this year and it will air this September 29 at 9/8c on FOX.

At this time we have no further details.

The first season starred Geena Davis, Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels, Hannah Kasulka, Brianne Howey, Kurt Egyiawan, and Alan Ruck.

Executive producers of the first season were Jeremy Slater, Rolin Jones, Rupert Wyatt, Roy Lee, James Robinson, David Robinson, and Barbara Wall.

The first season averaged a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 1.9 million viewers, it was one of FOX’s lowest-rated scripted shows but, thankfully FOX executives liked the show.

Know I loved the first season and I’m sure many of you did, too. So, will you be returning for a second season? Let us know, and if you haven’t seen this one yet, do yourself a favor and check it out!
