‘The Prince of Darkness’ Will Be Screened Inside of the Church Featured in the Film
In L.A.there are a lot of neat movie experiences to be had. Personally I’m a big fan of the outdoor screenings we have here like Street Food Cinema or Cinespia where they play movies in the Hollywood Cemetery. But then there are some events that stand out above all others.
This year Horror’s Hallowed Ground is teaming up with East West Players and Visual Communications to present John Carpenter’s “The Prince of Darkness” inside of the church that was actually used in the film. Sean Clark of Horror’s Hallowed Ground and HorrorHound Magazine will play host for the event which will also include special guests and a Q&A.
Along with this being a pretty nerdrific event, it’ll also be a helpful one. Proceeds from the screening will “go to benefit the Union Center of the Arts, the historic building in which the Prince of Darkness was filmed. East West Players and Visual Communications are both non-profit 501c3 organizations.”
The event will take place on October 28th in Los Angeles, California. Be sure to visit their Facebook page for more info and for details on when tickets will go on sale. You can bet an event like this will sell out fast, so keep an eye out.
