The Third Season of ‘Black Mirror’ Will Consist of 12 New Episodes on Netflix
A little while back we learned that Netflix had picked up Black Mirror, with a third season set to debut on the streaming service, and today we have learned that the third season will consist of twelve episodes! Yep, we’re are going to be in for a treat.
The third season will be produced by Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones’ House of Tomorrow, while Brooker has already started writing episodes for the third season. Production is said to begin in late 2015 from the series’ production base within the UK.
The series is set to premiere internationally in all Netflix territories, but plans are still being determined for the UK and Ireland as there are some issues between Netflix UK and Channel 4, regarding who will broadcast the new series, according to The Independent.
Either way, I’m just freakin’ stoked that the series has found a new home, and with that, twelve new episodes for us to delve into, it’s going to be an exciting time.
