The Walking Dead Season 3 to Film in Senoia, Georgia

The joys of filmmaking. The continuation of the second season hasn’t even aired yet, and we have word where the third season of AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead will take place. Also, we have a bit of an update on that Governor news I posted yesterday.

It looks as if Senoia, Gerogia in Coweta County will soon become “zombie central” as The Walking Dead season 3 is said to begin filming in the town this May. The town is undergoing a makeover as we speak with 60 local carpenters on hand. Below you can watch a news report from FOX 5 Atlanta as they are on location where the town is being transformed.

Also, according to Lilja’s Library, John Hawkes who was in line to play the role of The Governor appears as if it won’t happen, Hawkes’ publicist states quite plainly that “John is NOT appearing on The Walking Dead.”
