This ‘Hellriser’ Artwork Will Have You Double Take
We have recently received word that Steve Lawson’s (Killersaurus) latest flick, Hellriser, will be receiving a release on DVD in the UK this October 9, 2017, via the folks over at 88 Films. So yeah, so far so good. But wait until you get a peek at the official artwork, everything from the title, all the way down to the little tagline, I’m sure you’ll have to double take numerous times. The artwork and everything about the cover is like a mix between Hellraiser, Dawn of the Dead and even a little Land of the Dead with the hand.
Still, the plot sounds intriguing enough for us to check it out, but how about you? Let us know if you’ll be seeking this one out?
The film stars Steve Dolton (Essex Heist, The Curse of Robert The Doll, The Devil’s Tower, Zombie Undead), Charlie Bond (Vendetta, Strippers v Werewolves, Curse of the Witching Tree, Fall of the Essex Boys), and Nathan Head (Theatre of Fear, The Exorcist Chronicles, Dr Who, The Toymaker).
Synopsis: When their city is rocked by a series of brutal occult murders, veteran detective John Locke and his young partner Terri Keyes are forced to put aside their differences and follow the trail of evidence to a formerly abandoned asylum, where the new owner Dr Unnseine is conducting his own brand of Nazi-inspired “medical research” on the unwilling inmates.
One such inmate, the sexy but deadly Annie Dyer, may hold the key to the murders – and to the doorway to Hell itself – if only Locke and Keyes can stay alive long enough to discover what it is!
HELLRISER is a stylish, shocking and sexy thrill ride to hell and back in the tradition of the original “video nasties”.
