Toronto After Dark Calls for Early Entries!
Are you an aspiring filmmaker? Do you have dreams of achieving worldwide recognition through your indie film? Have you tried selling your soul to the devil for a chance at the big time? No? Oh..well you could always try entering a film festival!
And if you’re going to enter a film festival, why not Toronto After Dark? It’s one of Canada’s biggest film festivals specializing in horror, scif-fi, fantasy and more. If that sounds like your sort of thing, we’d like to remind you that After Dark is taking early submissions on April 12th. That’s this Friday! Toronto After Dark Film Festival has just announced its 8th Annual Call For Film Entries. The critically acclaimed fest runs for nine thrilling nights in Toronto, Canada this October 17-25, 2013 and welcomes submissions of all forms of genre cinema including horror, sci-fi, fantasy, animation, crime, action, cult and documentary films, both short form and feature-length.
The final deadline for this year’s entries is June 7, but filmmakers are strongly encouraged to save on entry fees and submit their films before the Early Deadline of end of day, Fri, April 12. For convenience to filmmakers, both online screeners and DVDs are accepted. Filmmakers can enter the fest at Withoutabox.com or directly at the festival website: www.torontoafterdark.com
