‘Until Dawn: Rush of Blood’ Coming to PS4 and PlayStation VR

Paris Games Week is currently underway in Paris and Sony has a big presence there this year with a slew of game demos and announcements for the Paris crowd.

Among the new titles revealed during their press conference yesterday was a new horror game from the creators of “Until Dawn.”  This new title, called “Until Dawn: Rush of Blood”, will be a spin-off from “Until Dawn” and will feature some of the elements seen in that game.  However, what really sets this new game apart from the one released this year is that it’ll be an on-rails virtual reality shooter.  That’s right, this new title will be developed exclusively for Sony’s upcoming Playstation VR headset.

Not much is known about the upcoming title except that it’ll be a funhouse ride through a character’s psyche as they go through the events that were show in “Until Dawn.”  So you’ll see elements and characters from that game appear in this one.  The game will also feature some form of choice, but they didn’t divulge too much about that part.  Given that it’s an on rails game I’m willing to bet they’ll have branching paths you can choose from.

“Until Dawn: Rush of Blood” is expected to be out sometime in early 2016. Check out the video below for more information.
