Zombeavers Gets a U.S. Release Date

Every now and then a movie comes along with a premise so unbelievably absurd that it gets absorbed into the public conscious and becomes an instant sensation.  Most recently we saw such a thing happen with “Sharknado.”  But where will the next big sensation come from and what animal will be helplessly sucked into the madness?

There are a few interesting candidates out there, but the one I’m looking forward too the most is “Zombeavers” and now it looks like we’ll finally have our chance to see it when the film drops next year.  “Zombeavers” will be coming to the US on March 20, 2015.  In what form remains to be seen, but I can’t imagine this will get a theatrical release, so I expect we’ll see it on VOD and other services.

If you’ve been reading this story and wondering just what the hell a “Zombeaver” is, let me break it down for you: A group of college kids get trapped in a remote cabin when a bunch of zombified beavers descend upon them.  The film has been kicking around for awhile now having played the festival circuit.  However, there is a trailer that you can check out down below.
